BizForge is software that contractors use to run their businesses. When a contractor uses BizForge to keep records about their own customers, the contractor decides what is collected and why, and we handle that information on the contractor’s behalf. Customers of a business that uses BizForge should read that business’s privacy policy.

Information we collect

When you join the waitlist

• Your name, business name, email, phone number (optional), the kinds of work you do, the plan you’re interested in and the software you use today.
• Marketing details from the link you arrived on (utm source, medium and campaign). To stop abuse we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for up to a day; we don’t store the address itself.
• We use these details only to contact you about early access and launch offers.

When you sign up

• Your business name, your name, email address, phone number, the kinds of work you do, and a password (stored hashed, never in plain text).
• Marketing details from the link you arrived on (utm source, medium and campaign), so we know which ads and posts work.

When you use the app

• The records you and your team add: contacts, opportunities, quotes, jobs, invoices, payments, messages, files and photos.
• Account and security information: sign-ins, devices and sessions, and an activity history of changes.
• Credentials for accounts you connect (such as QuickBooks or Google), stored encrypted.

When you visit this website

• Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

How we use information
